Nigerian Armed Force Set Ablaze Oil Ship

Operatives of the Nigerian military, on Monday 10th of October, 2022,  set ablaze a vessel loaded with illegal crude oil in Delta State, south-southern Nigeria.  

Activities of oil bunkers, smugglers was closely monitored recently. The Goodness reported in August 2022, that MT Heroic Idun, a crude oil tanker ship which invaded Nigerian waterway without permission by relevant authorities got arrested in Equatorial Guinea for illegally lifting the Nigeria's oil.

This latest oil ship was detected by waterway security personnel working for Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly addressed as Tompolo, a former militant commander of the defunct Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger-Delta, otherwise known as MEND.

The vessel named MT Deima, crested with International Maritime Organisation (IMO) number 7210525, was arrested at the Warri river by Tompolo's Tantita Security Services Limited.
