On visiting the scene of the explosion, El- Rufai ordered gas refill stations to relocate to industrial layouts.
He urged residents to report anyone found refilling gas within residential areas to Kaduna Environmental Protection Agency (KEPA), so that measures can be taken to chase them out.
He noted that gas refilling was an activity that poses a high risk and so it should be done only in industrial layouts where all the safety measures can be put in, adding that it is not acceptable to have such kind of facility in residential areas.
