The Natural Oil and Gas Suppliers Association of Nigeria (NOGASA) at its re-inauguration recently held in Abuja has restated its commitment to tackle adulteration of petroleum products.
The Chairman of the association, Benneth Okorie, speaking at the event, urged its members to desist from any patronage of illegal petroleum products, emphasising that culprits would be apprehended and severely punished.
He explained further that those patronising illegal loading points were not only jeopardising the reputation of the body, but might end up harming unsuspecting members of the public. He revealed that from henceforth, actions will be intensified to curb and eventually halt the distribution of adulterated petroleum products, especially within areas of the association’s operation.
