SAIPEM LEADS OTHER JV PARTNERS, WINS LNG CONTRACT IN NIGERIA

Saipem in collaboration with its joint venture partners, Japan’s Chiyoda Corp and Korea’s Daewoo E&C, has won a new JV contract in Nigeria.

For this project, Saipem has been identified as the leader of the group.

The contract is focused on a proposal for pre-engineering design, procurement and construction work for the NLNG Train 7 project, aimed at increasing an existing LNG plant controlled by the Nigeria LNG Limited.

Members of Nigeria LNG venture include Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and oil majors Royal Dutch Shell, Total and Eni.

LNG INDUSTRY
